In November 2022, the MEYER Group founded MEYER WISMAR to complete the cruise ship under construction at the Wismar shipyard for Disney Cruise Line (Orlando / USA). The ship will be converted into one of the first methanol-powered and thus one of the most environmentally friendly ships on the seven seas. As soon as green methanol is available, the ship will be able to sail climate-neutrally. Together with other companies of the MEYER Group, the ship will be equipped with the greenest technologies and redesigned for the Disney Group.

The 200, 000+ GT ship will be based in Singapore upon completion, allowing many more families to make unforgettable memories with beloved characters such as Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse, Disney princesses, Marvel superheroes and more.

The cruise ship is currently scheduled for completion in 2025.
